Book which showcases a typographic interpretation of the novel The Beginning and the End by Najib Mahfouz. The novel is about a family who lives in an impoverished neighborhood in Egypt. The characters face dark events and realities that challenge their family bonds and moral integrity. Their choices either escalate their vulnerability or their brutality.

Four drawings that borrow from stricken walls. Four glass blown objects collapse on the bullets that shattered the windows. A house that sheds off its skin.
